The newest cast member to join The X-Files is Annabeth Gish. Her character is Special Agent Monica Reyes and she is now working with Agents Doggett and Scully on the X-Files. According to the Gish, Reyes is "open and spiritual, and she´s not a skeptic or a believer. She´s riding that line."

The actress has appeared in various movies, including Mystic Pizza and Double Jeopardy.
