Patrick Stewart and Glenn Close are set to portray King Henry II of England and Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine in the Showtime remake of The Lion in Winter based on the Academy Award-winning screenplay by James Goldman. Hallmark Entertainment and Flying Freehold Prods are the production teams behind the scenes. Shooting is scheduled to begin in Hungary in early 2003.
